4 Week Intro $225 (Fully Booked!)
In this 4-week pottery course, you’ll dive deeper into the art of wheel throwing with no experience required. Class will start on Monday, August 11th from 6pm-8pm. The remaining classes will be on August 18th, 25th, and September 1st. A return visit once the class concludes is required 3-4 weeks later to pick up your glazed and fired creations.
Each week, you’ll build your skills through hands-on practice, shaping and refining pieces that are truly your own. All materials and tools are provided, and by the end of the course, you’ll have 5-10 finished pots to show for it.

Come get messy and inspired during this 2 hour workshop while we introduce you to the world of pottery! We will give you a tour of the equipment and guide you through a basic introduction to throwing on the wheel. No prior experience is required! At the end of the session, you will get to choose two of your masterpieces to take home with you. (Pottery will need to be glazed and fired. Pick-up of pieces will be coordinated when they are ready.)

Where are you located?
Vierheller Pottery is a home based studio, located behind the home of Michael Vierheller and family in Thaxton, MS. Classes take place in the shop located just behind their home. Full address is provided once booking is confirmed.
Can I get a refund if I have to cancel or miss a class?
We have a 72 hour refund policy for all classes. After 72 hours, no refunds will be given. See the Refund and Cancellation page for further information by clicking here.
What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing! We provide everything!
It is highly recommended that you leave all jewelry and bracelets at home. Wear clothes that are comfy and that you don’t mind getting dirty. Long hair must be up. While it is possible to make pottery with long nails, it makes it considerably harder as a beginner.
